The story

Founded in 1979 as a wilderness therapy program, The Mountain Center guides New Mexicans through experiential adventure and community-based resiliency programs. Every year its story has to reach donors, partners and agencies.

We have shaped the organization's reporting year after year: Solid in Strength and Purpose for fiscal year 2021, Standing Strong for 2022, Defined Growth for 2023 and the FY2025 Impact Report. Each edition pairs real participants and New Mexico landscapes with clear program numbers and a theme that carries the whole book.

Building Up, the capital campaign brochure, borrowed the question climbers ask their teammates on the tower: Do you support me? It made the case for a new ropes course and a 35-foot yurt in Tesuque, an estimated $220,000 project. The FY2023 report later shared that the community raised over $220,000 to build them.
